Aya, your New year's meal looks so delicious! I'd really love to taste it!
I'm back at work today. I'd love to have a longer holiday too :)
But we have a religious holiday on January 6th :)
Have a nice week, Aya!
Kind regards, Maria

Hello Ayamlin! That table is really attractive! ;-)
Which card games did you play? Briscola, Scala40, Scopa, Poker or others?
About your question, the 1st January the Catholic Church celebrates the Virgin Mary and the Peace Day. This year the Pope's message for the Peace Day was: "If you want to cultivate Peace, protect Creation".
Happy 2010!

Hi Maria!
Today I started to work again and it was so busy at work.
I got home around at 9:00 at night.
I used to have an image European people have a lot of long vacaion.
I had thought especailly Italian people had them.
but it's wrong. Everybody work hard.
I miss holidays already!

Hi Pietro!
We like play " UNO" that is probably Italian card game? and " Solo" that is German card game.
Also we sometimes enjoy playing a card game called " 7 bridge " and " Rich or Poor ".
Do you know those card games?
