It's nice you fly kites in Japan!
About fireworks in Italy, I know the magnificent and powerful fireworks on the sea in the village of Rapallo (Liguria region) the first three days of July. I've seen them many times, they are really spectacular: they begin at about 23 and go on one hour or more. Great noise, bright lights with various patterns, no pauses! Then three big bangs at the end of the performance!
